Psych pop for the clever and the restless. For over two decades, Head of Femur has crafted orchestral pop with the wistfulness of 1960s psych trendsetters, the flourish and ambition of 1970’s glam forebears, and the artful ache and wry cynicism of post-punk peers from the 1990’s and beyond. This band treats each four-minute song like a quantum reaction, dense with possibilities and potential, steering their sonic TARDIS through esoteric tales and perpetually blooming harmonies like reluctant kings who refuse to rule.
